Ben Vink is the Deputy Principal 鈥� Student Care at College
Ben is an experienced Dayboy and Boarding Housemaster. As Deputy Principal 鈥� Student Care 鈥� Ben leads a pastoral team focussed on delivering our mission 鈥� Each boy at his best.
At College for the past 13 years, Ben previously taught in London, and at Timaru Boys鈥� High School and Christchurch Boys鈥� High School. He believes relationships developed through boarding are unique and that much is learnt along the way to allow boarding graduates to be well-placed for the adult world ahead.
While each boy鈥檚 journey is individual and special, Ben鈥檚 goal for the College boarding community is to create a safe, caring 鈥榟ome away from home鈥� environment which allows them to flourish 鈥� to be challenged academically, to expand through co-curricular interests, and to grow through wholehearted involvement in the boarding programme itself. He aims for its constant improvement and for the boarding community to focus strongly on the College鈥檚 Wellbeing programme which he believes is critical to the students as they progress beyond College.
